Firstly I would like to thank Jan Janes and her committee for asking me to judge their show. I feel it was a great honour to be given the opportunity to judge this lovely breed and would like to thank the exhibitors, the committee and my stewards for giving me a very enjoyable day with some quality exhibits to judge.

Minor Puppy Dog (1)
1. Barkley's: Cherryheath's Mr.Mischief (BPD)
7 months old, well proportioned skull with slight dome, dark eye, moderately set ears of correct shape, muscular neck, correct lay of shoulder, well sprung ribs, strong loin, ample bone, firm feet, nice balance, moved soundly BPD.

Just 12 mths, balanced throughout nice to see a docked tail meaning he can do his job, nicely balanced skull, dark eye, strong neck, correct lay back of shoulders, ribbed well back, strong loin, firm topline, correct hindquarters well muscled for age, good coat rich in colour, moved well.

Loved this dog for his overall balance and superb quality and condition, correctly balanced head with clearly defined stop, well chiselled below eyes, strong jaw, correct scissor bite, muscular neck, clean throat, sloping shoulders, muscular body with deep brisket and well sprung ribs going well back into a short slightly arched strong loin, hocks well let down, muscular thighs, tail correctly set and carried, covered the ground with powerful forward reach and driving from rear.
